Here is a little something about me...I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl. I used to make my siblings sit in desks and do homework assignments I wrote up for them. Upon attending BYU I thought I changed my mind and wanted to be a athletic trainer or doctor, but eventually I came back to education and I know it was the right move! I am a MAJOR book worm and love to read during the breaks. Learning is one of my deepest passions, I love learning about new things, places, people, customs, languages...you name it, I would love to learn about it! I spent about 13 years taking classes and practicing to learn Spanish and even got to go teach in Mexico for two summers, where I REALLY learned how to speak. I still make many mistakes but I love the Mexican culture, people, and especially the FOOD!

During the Break... This break was really exciting for me because I got to go home for 10 days and visit my family! It has been almost 2 1/2 years since all of my siblings have been able to be together so it was really a treat! It was fun because even though we are all "grown up" we still act like we did when we were younger. They are my favorite people and while we were together we did some of our favorite things. I even got to learn something new when I helped my brother make some elk jerky...it was delish! We got to go camping with some cousins and grandparents, ate s'mores and foil dinners, swam, hiked, played horseshoes and volleyball, and laughed A LOT!
