Weekly Vocabulary
1. vapor - tiny particles of matter in gas form (example: water vapor)
2. precipitation - water that falls from the sky in the form of rain, snow, sleet, or hail 3. evaporation - the process of a liquid turning into a gas 4. cloud - a visible group of water or ice particles usually high in the sky 5. dew - little drops of water that collect at night on grass, plants, and other cool surfaces 6. condensation - the process of changing from a gas to a liquid 7. temperature - how hot or cold something is; measured by a thermometer 8. water cycle - the process by which water on the earth evaporates, then condenses in the atmosphere, and then returns to earth in the form of precipitation
