1. point - a location in a plane. It is usually shown by a dot.
2. line - a straight path that goes on forever in opposite directions. 3. line segment - part of a line that has two endpoints. 4. endpoint - the point at either end of a line segment or the beginning of a ray. 5. angle - a figure formed by two rays with the same endpoint. 6. ray - part of a line that has one endpoint and extends without end in one direction. 7. vertex - a point that is shared by two sides of an angle of two sides of a polygon. 8. right angle - one of four angles made by perpendicular lines, has an exact measurement of 90 degrees. 9. acute angle - an angle with less than 90 degrees. 10. obtuse angle - an angle greater than 90 degrees and less than a straight angle. 11. straight angle - an angle with an exact measurement of 180 degrees, looks like a line, but is actually two rays going in opposite directions. 12. degree - a unit for measuring angles. 13. protractor - a semicircular tool for measuring and constructing angles.
